I’ve Sat in Every Chair in the Courtroom

There’s a difference between reading a case file and understanding what it feels like to stand in a courtroom.

I’ve stood as a prosecutor.
I’ve stood as a defense attorney.
I’ve helped people through civil disputes and family law matters during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

That experience shapes how I approach the law.

And more importantly, how I see people.

A Courtroom Advocate—Not a Courthouse Insider

Every role in the courtroom carries responsibility:

  • Prosecution → accountability and protecting the community
  • Defense → fairness, due process, and unseen context
  • Civil & family law → resolution during real-life challenges

But across every case, one thing remains true:

There is always a person behind it.

I’ve built my career working directly with those people—not observing from the bench, but standing beside them.

That’s what it means to be a Courtroom Advocate.

Why That Matters to You

Most people don’t plan to enter a courtroom.

It usually happens when life becomes complicated:

  • A custody decision
  • A criminal charge
  • A dispute that escalates

In those moments, people don’t need complexity.

They need:

  • Clarity
  • Fairness
  • Someone who understands what they’re going through

Experience That Goes Beyond Titles

Real experience isn’t just years on paper.

It’s built by:

  • Sitting with people in uncertainty
  • Navigating difficult decisions
  • Understanding what’s at stake for families and futures

That experience teaches you:

  • When to listen
  • When to ask more
  • When to look deeper

A Different Perspective

Some careers are built inside the courthouse.

Mine has been built in the courtroom—with people.

That perspective matters.

Because decisions in the legal system don’t just affect cases.

They affect lives.

Why It Matters in Gwinnett County

Gwinnett is growing. Diverse. Hardworking.

People here expect:

  • Fairness
  • Consistency
  • Respect

Choosing a candidate isn’t about titles.

It’s about trust.

It’s about choosing someone who understands both:

  • The legal system
  • The people within it
